Mike has extensive experience in the medical device industry, having held Board level positions at Smith & Nephew and BSN Medical. He established H&R Healthcare in 2006, since then it has grown to over 130 employees. H&R Healthcare is the leading distributor of third party wound management products in the UK and also operates an extensive medical textiles business through its ownership of CUI International, Medalin and Pretty Legs Hosiery (manufacturers of Saphena Anti Embolic Hosiery). Mike is also Chair of Onbone OY, a Finnish medical device manufacturer.
Sales & Marketing Director
Maria has over 20 years’ experience within the wound care and dermatology industry and has broad experience across marketing, sales and business development. Maria has previously held positions with Smith & Nephew, Boots Healthcare International and Reckitt Benckiser. She has been with H&R Healthcare since 2010, and was instrumental in the introduction of PROSHIELD to the UK. Maria is responsible for company-wide marketing activities as well as being Sales Director for Midlands and the South.
Nick has over 10 years’ experience within the medical device industry having previously worked for Johnson & Johnson and Coloplast. Over that time he has held various sales and management roles and has developed an in depth understanding of the NHS. As the Commercial Director, Nick is fully committed to ensure that H&R Healthcare work in partnership with our suppliers to provide products and solutions to clinicians that improve patient outcomes and control cost.
Louise has been working in the wound care industry for over 15 years. She has been instrumental in the rapid development and growth of the company since its inception in 2006. Louise manages all operational activity including, customer services, finance, logistics, contracts and quality. She is responsible for ensuring H&R Healthcare deliver a professional and sustainable service to all its customers.
Dougie has spent the last 20 years in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries with the last 10 years specifically in woundcare working for Johnson & Johnson, Systagenix and Coloplast. During this time he has held many sales, marketing and management roles and is committed to working with customers to deliver the best possible patient outcomes. With wide knowledge of the wound care market Dougie understands how the H&R Healthcare portfolio can be best utilised to deliver efficiencies and quality whilst offering clinical support to customers at all levels of an organisation.
